Work You’ll Do
As a Manager in M&A I&D S&G team, you will be responsible for:
- Leading workstreams for integration and divestiture engagements across the M&A lifecycle
- Defining transaction strategy, operating model, and governance structure to drive integration/divestiture execution, decision-making, and accountability across workstreams
- Developing Day 1 plans, workplans, milestones, governance forums, and executive-ready materials to support transaction execution
- Coordinating cross-functional teams to manage interdependencies, risks, issue resolution, and alignment to transaction objectives
- Analyzing transactions, operational, and organizational inputs to inform execution decisions, value capture priorities, and future-state planning
- Managing day-to-day client relationships, overseeing deliverable quality, mentoring junior practitioners, and contributing to proposal development

The Team
M&A advises corporate and PE clients across inorganic growth/divestiture scenarios through M&A strategy, diligence, integration/separation planning and execution, financial and modeling services, and transaction financing.
Within M&A, the Integration & Divestiture Strategy and Governance team supports Life Sciences organizations through integrations, carve-outs, and separations from announcement through close and post-close execution. The team focuses on governance design, decision-making, workplan orchestration, risk management, and value capture to help clients navigate transaction complexity and execute against strategic objectives. The team provides tailored services to the biopharmaceutical, medical technology, and generics segments. Our dedicated industry professionals work with companies in each of these segments to help them address the challenges and opportunities of the evolving health care ecosystem.
Qualifications
Required:
- 6+ years of M&A or M&A service delivery experience across the transaction lifecycle including due diligence, pre-close planning, post-close integration and/or divestiture
- 6+ years of experience developing engagement workplans, coordinating cross-functional workstreams, and managing scope changes
- 6+ years of experience managing cross-functional teams and delivering M&A engagements for corporate or private equity clients
- 6+ years of experience serving Life Sciences organizations in M&A, integration, or divestiture engagements
- Experience advising senior executives on mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, disposition alternatives, or post-transaction activities
- Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of consulting and/or industry experience; alternatively, Master of Business Administration and 4+ years of work experience
- Ability to travel 50%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve
- Limited immigration sponsorship may be available
Preferred:
- Recent experience working in a professional services consulting firm
- Experience developing presentations in Microsoft PowerPoint and process flows in Microsoft Visio
- Experience supporting communications, culture, or change management in M&A transactions
- Experience conducting financial analysis, business process reengineering, or operational performance improvement analysis
- Master of Business Administration or other advanced degree
