As a Director specialising in scale technology delivery for complex transformations within our telecoms clients, you will hold a pivotal role in shaping and executing strategic initiatives. You will be instrumental in building and nurturing deep, trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders, often at C-suite level, guiding them through their most intricate challenges. Your leadership will extend to orchestrating multi-capability and often multi-geography teams, ensuring the successful design and implementation of transformative solutions that deliver significant, business-critical outcomes. Beyond client engagements, you will be recognised as a key leader within our business, actively contributing to the growth of our industry team and proactively identifying new opportunities through your profound expertise, established relationships, and the impactful work you deliver.
As a Delivery Leader, you will:
- Cultivate and expand senior client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to C-suite executives on critical strategic and transformational agendas and complex challenges within the TMT and telecoms sector.
- Understand what it takes to deliver major technology programmes safely, quickly, and at scale – building diverse teams both within Deloitte and with our clients.
- Shape, mobilise, lead, and inspire diverse, multi-capability and multi-geography teams, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring high performance in the delivery of complex client engagements.
- Leverage your deep industry expertise and established client relationships to proactively identify, shape, and secure new business opportunities, significantly contributing to the growth of our TMT practice.
- Act as a visible leader within Deloitte, mentoring and developing our talent, contributing to our thought leadership, and playing a key role in the strategic direction and growth of our industry team.
- Define the overall programme strategy, roadmap, governance frameworks and detailed delivery plans, ensuring alignment with client objectives, Deloitte's methodologies, and industry best practices.
- Oversee programme budgets, financial forecasts, and commercial aspects, ensuring profitability, cost-effectiveness, and value for both your clients and Deloitte.
- Proactively manage intricate stakeholder landscapes, including multiple client departments, third-party vendors, and internal Deloitte teams, ensuring clear communication, alignment, and resolution of critical issues and dependencies.
- Ensure the highest quality of deliverables and adherence to programme standards, fostering a culture of delivery excellence and continuous improvement across all programme workstreams.

- Deep expertise in the TMT / Telecoms industry, encompassing a comprehensive understanding of its products, services, processes, and technologies. This includes areas such as:
- Business Support Systems (BSS) and Operations Support Systems (OSS) transformation
- Network evolution (e.g., 5G, fibre, cloud-native networks)
- Digital customer experience and channel transformation
- Data monetisation, analytics, and AI/ML applications in Telecoms
- Cloud adoption strategies and large-scale platform migrations
- Exceptional programme leadership and management capabilities, including strategic planning, governance, risk management, financial stewardship, and benefits realisation across large-scale, complex engagements.
- Demonstrable success in building and sustaining trusted advisor relationships with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders within client organisations, influencing strategic decisions and driving consensus across diverse groups.
- Strong commercial acumen and business development skills, with a proven ability to identify, shape, and secure new opportunities, including leading bid responses (e.g., RFI/RFP) and developing compelling value propositions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, capable of articulating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to both technical and non-technical audiences at all levels.
- A strong commitment to people development, with experience in mentoring, coaching, and developing talent, contributing to the growth of our practice and the professional advancement of our teams.
Preferably you also have:
- Recognised certifications in programme management (e.g., MSP, PMP) or relevant technology domains.
- Experience in leading or significantly contributing to the growth of a professional services practice or service line.

We are subject to a number of audit regulations, one of which requires that certain colleagues abide by specific personal independence constraints (e.g., in relation to any financial interests and employment relationships). This can mean that you and your "Immediate Family Members" are not permitted to hold certain financial interests (shares, funds, bonds etc.) with audit clients of the firm, and also prohibitions on certain employment relationships (e.g., you are not permitted to hold a secondary employment role with SEC audit clients of the firm whilst being employed by the firm).
