Our Software & Asset Management team, a part of Cyber and Technology & Transformation at Deloitte, is one of the fastest-growing practices within the firm. We are dedicated to supporting companies in assessing and managing risks associated with IT products and services, guiding them towards risk minimization while optimizing the balance between risk and business performance.

What We Do:

We offer comprehensive operational, strategic, and methodological support aimed at optimizing IT asset costs, improving IT governance, and streamlining processes. Leveraging our extensive experience in model implementation and end-to-end managed service technology solutions, we guide companies through their digital transformation journey to achieve critical strategic objectives.

• Design, lead, and manage the transformation of IT organizations, processes, and tools, focusing on managing the lifecycle of IT assets, including hardware, software, and Cloud, in alignment with enterprises' Digital Transformation and Cloud Journey.
• Utilize and build upon our proprietary framework, developed through years of industry experience and based on international best practices and standards (e.g., ITIL, ISO, FinOps), to deliver exceptional support.
• Apply advanced technologies to analyze and design end-to-end business processes. Identify inefficiencies using quantitative and qualitative techniques, support large-scale data collection, and implement optimal business processes to mitigate identified risks across various domains (operational, legal, reputational, regulatory, economic, etc.);
• Harness the power of Generative AI, software development, and data analysis tools to innovate IT solutions, build automation scripts and lightweight tools, and provide innovative insights for transforming business processes.

#AboutYourRole

As a Technology Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our clients during the management of their IT ecosystems, improving their efficiency and maximizing their investments. This role offers a unique opportunity to work on diverse projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and leveraging your expertise to deliver value-added insights.

You will support Clients in managing their IT Assets during the whole lifecycle, by analyzing IT systems and—where applicable—designing, developing, and implementing custom scripts or software tools to support automation, reporting, and optimization initiatives.

Such projects may involve, but are not limited to, IT cost monitoring, IT cost optimization & cost reduction, technological obsolescence etc.

As part of our team, you will receive trainings on the installation & implementation of tools/technologies that provide up-to-date information on IT infrastructures and help automate the monitoring of IT Assets as well as foundational software development practices, automation tooling, and data engineering techniques to support both client and internal needs.

On the other hand, you will support Clients in understanding the contractual compliance toward Software usage based on licensing politics applied by Vendors.

Furthermore, you will operate autonomously within our development team, focusing on the creation and maintenance of internal tools and dashboards. These will be vital for license monitoring, asset tracking, and compliance validation. You will also collaborate with fellow developers to build bespoke analysis solutions and automate audit processes.

Support a team of Software licensing specialists to audit clients on behalf of different publishers and ITAM technology experts to advise clients on license optimization (e.g. Flexera software)

Let’s talk about you

• You obtained a bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, Computer Science and Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, or have an equivalent qualification.
• Programming & Development experience: Proficiency and experience in software development to support data analysis, internal tool development, asset management automation, and dashboard visualisation (e.g. C#, Python, PowerShell, MySQL, Power BI, Github Copilot, etc).
• You have an advanced level of written and oral communication in English.
• You have a good knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel and MS Outlook.
• You are interested in or would like to learn about IT Asset Management & IT Cost Management and to some degree Software Development.
• You have a critical and analytical mindset; you are flexible and have openness for feedback.
• You have an eye for detail, as you will be involved in executive reporting.
• You are eager to learn and a fast learner.
• You easily make logical connections.
• You can work well both independently and in teams, showcasing good communication skills.
• You behave professionally, and (pro-actively) communicate to management.

#Nicetohave

• Multiple language proficiency and/or advanced level of written and oral communication would be an advantage.
• Possession of certifications such as ITAM, ITIL and Cloud Fundamentals.
