What is the challenge?
Your future role
- Manage and oversee indirect tax (VAT) obligations across multiple countries of operation.
- Prepare, review, and submit periodic VAT returns and other indirect tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations and internal procedures.
- Analyze business operations and transactions to ensure their correct tax treatment.
- Respond to inquiries, audits, and requests from tax authorities.
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and business teams on tax compliance matters.
- Identify tax risks and propose improvements to VAT compliance processes and controls.
Qualified candidates will demonstrate
- University degree in a relevant field (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, etc.).
- 2-4 years of Previous experience in VAT Compliance or a similar position, with responsibility for VAT filings, tax compliance, and related activities.
- Good level of English.
- Very good interpersonal and team-playing skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Well organized and able to identify and juggle with priorities.
- Leadership skills.
