Autonomously monitor, manage and regularly update an allocated portfolio of existing credit exposures, and ensure early identification of potential risks or deteriorating credit conditions. Work closely with Origination (Senior Bankers, Relationship Managers, Business and Product Lines), Distribution (Secondary Sales, Insurance), Risk and Compliance to structure appropriate credit solutions. Ensure compliance with internal credit policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards. Maintain accurate credit files and documentation of credit evaluations for regulatory and internal review. Contribute to the optimization of processes, ensuring quality standards and improving efficiency. Ihr ProfilExperience and technical skills: University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline; or, a bank apprenticeship with advanced training. 5 or more years of professional experience as a Credit Analyst or similar financial role at a Corporate or Investment bank. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail. Proficiency in credit risk assessment, financial ratios, accounting rules, and forecasting. Familiarity with credit scoring systems and financial modelling tools. Know-how in innovative commercial products of corporate financing with focus on the German market. Fluent oral and written English and German skills is required. Preferred additional qualifications: Experience within a licensed financial institution or regulated banking environment. Past exposure to the specific challenges related to corporate and SME credit. Advanced Excel and financial modelling skills, and working knowledge of credit analysis software/tools. Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or credit risk certification) are an advantage. Personal Abilities/ Competencies: Effective written and verbal communication and report-writing skills.
