ResponsibilitiesAs the Asia Industrials Sector Specialist, you will be responsible for leveraging your sector knowledge and idea generation to maintain and develop key relationships with Bernstein's hedge fund and long-only clients:Identify trading opportunities through dislocations in risk/reward, valuation, and catalyst paths to deliver actionable insights for clients across the Asia Industrials sector.Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular meetings and calls, providing timely sector updates and investment ideas.Prepare daily commentary on key news flow, research highlights, market trends, and trading opportunities.Collaborate with sales and investor access teams to align research with market dynamics and client needs.Partner with Industrials Specialist Sales colleagues in the U.S. and Europe to provide a global perspective and integrated sector coverage.Act as a key link between ECM teams and institutional clients, providing sector-specific insights and deal positioning during IPOs and block trades while gathering investor feedback to improve pricing and allocation decisions.We make a strong commitment to career development and will give you opportunities to gain visibility and incremental responsibility over time. While our culture is intellectually rigorous, it is also very collegial and fun – you will participate in a range of activities including philanthropy, development and leadership programmes, social events, and mentoring.Profile requiredOur Specialist Sales typically possess:5-10 years of experience in research and/or sales on the sell- or buy-side.Strong knowledge of Asia Industrial equities (e.g. factory automation/robotics, autos/EVs, energy storage).Understanding of how the Asia Industrials sector links to the global supply chain.Established relationships with key institutional clients.Financial modelling skills including knowledge of Excel and/or experience in analyzing financial companies.Excellent time management skills and able to adapt in a fast-paced environment.Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and clients.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English & Mandarin.
