ResponsibilitiesPrimary Objectives:Drive revenue and client value through effective execution and management of daily stock lending and TRS flow trading across Japan and Asia ex-Japan markets.Deliver optimized, value added trading solutions-including corporate action opportunities—to enhance client outcomes.Build, strengthen, and maintain high quality relationships with clients, brokers, and trading counterparts to support franchise growth.Ensure disciplined oversight of trading risk, inventory, and PnL, maintaining alignment with internal controls and market best practices.Support the strategic expansion of our Prime Business through proactive idea generation, entrepreneurship, and sales engagement.Contribute to infrastructure, system, and process enhancements to improve trading efficiency and scalability.Major Accountabilities/Principal Responsibilities:(11-1) DutiesCore Responsibilities:Daily Flow Trading: Execute and manage stock lending and total return swaps (TRS) for Japanese and Asia ex-Japan securities.Client & Counterparty Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and trading counterparts.Corporate Action Optimization: Deliver value-added trades that optimize corporate actions for clients.Risk & PnL Oversight: Monitor and manage trading risk and profitabilityInfrastructure & Projects: Contribute to system/process improvements and strategic initiatives.
