ResponsibilitiesThe Director – Loan Syndicator in Singapore will be more specifically responsible for:Pricing, structuring and underwriting (i) flow (corporate / leveraged) loan products as well as (ii) non-flow (PF / asset finance), originated in South East Asia and India. The successful candidate will work hand-in-hand with the Origination business lines as well as the HK loan syndicate team throughout the origination process on those aspects, including in client-facing activities (incl. pitching / marketing);Working hand-in-hand with the APAC credit sales team, including in an investor-facing capability and through ongoing training of the APAC credit sales team, to initiate and push non-flow / flow credit products sales to investors, as part of primary and extended primary syndication processes;Providing other support as necessary in connection with non-flow credit / flow loan distribution, such as providing distribution input (including reverse enquiries) for our portfolio management team during secondary / portfolio sales.Profile requiredBachelor’s or master's Degree or equivalent in a relevant field;At least 10 years of relevant experience in Investment Banking, preferably in a Loan Syndicate role, with a strong focus on corporate / acquisition / leveraged loans as well as in real assets loan syndications;Proven capability of building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, business lines as well as bank and non-bank investors (including keeping up to date on their loan investment criteria);Strong technical knowledge of the Indian and Southeast Asian loan syndication markets, underlying players / investors, with a specific focus on the following asset classes: corporate loans (including corporate acquisition loans) and leveraged loans, real assets loans (project / asset finance)Proven analytical skills as well as exceptional written and verbal communication and presentation skillsStrong ability in Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and ExcelBehavioral SkillsClient - Client focus: I nurture a long-term relationship with the clients/internal partnersClient - Sales and Marketing Strategy: I develop innovative strategies adapted to our clients/internal partnersResponsibility - Performance: I generate outstanding individual and collective performanceClient - Understanding and Respect: When communicating with our clients/internal partners I listen in order to understand and anticipate their needsTeam Spirit - Open mindset/Respect: I listen and share my views and my expertise in an open modeTeam Spirit - Conflict Management: I anticipate conflicts and strive to resolve them fairly and sustainably Why join usBusiness insightWithin DCS APAC, the Loan Syndicate APAC team will be more specifically responsible for:pricing, structuring and underwriting illiquid and liquid credit products, originated in APAC but also from other regions whenever there may be an APAC-related distribution angle. The team will work hand-in-hand with the Origination business lines throughout the origination process on those aspects, including in client-facing activities (incl. pitching / marketing);working hand-in-hand with the APAC credit sales team, including in an investor-facing capability and through ongoing training of the APAC credit sales team, to initiate and push illiquid / liquid credit products sales to investors;providing other support as necessary in connection with illiquid credit / liquid loan distribution, such as providing distribution input (including reverse enquiries) for CPM during secondary / portfolio sales.
