To be eligible, please ensure you have completed your qualification and will be available to work full time for the duration of Trainee contractResponsibilitiesIn your 1st year, you will be exploring various products and activities across the region with details belowProduct scope: Vanilla products across Equity, Rates, Commodity and FX, including listed derivatives, cash equities, bonds and FX spot/forwards Work closely with Front Office and the different support functions (MO, BO, Risk, Finance, ITEC) in order to:Assist with trade capture of vanilla flow products in internal systems, ensuring trades are booked accurately and in a timely mannerPush for automation, simplification and convergence of the processesAssist FO on their specific requests with effective and innovative solutionsImprove/control quality of database inputsEnsure booking timeliness; provide justifications for any late bookings and amendmentsFollow-up of transversal issues (systems, financial, accounting ...)]Participate in projects for the security and reliability of the control systemDraft / update procedures linked to sensitive processes and controlsAfter gaining more knowledge from 1st year, you can also expect to explore more different area within the Vanilla Middle Office and be able to come up with more comprehensive solutions & enhance existing processes with below examples:Contribute to automation governance on Asia scope:Identify regularly automation opportunityIn partnership with IT teams, engage in developments of control toolsParticipate in impact analysis as part of the development of new activities, including participation in New Product Committee preparationParticipate in the production of risk indicators (KRI) or performance indicators (KPI) of the team's activityContribute to regular error rate governance on Asia scope.
