ResponsibilitiesMission: SGSS (Société Générale Securities Services) provides a comprehensive range of securities services to institutional investors, asset managers and financial institutions worldwide. Within SGSS Switzerland, the Business Support team supports client servicing, regulatory activities, reporting and business management. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and clients to ensure efficient operations and high quality of service.The Business Support Intern will support SGSS Switzerland across a broad range of business management, operational, regulatory and reporting activities. The role provides exposure to the day-to-day management of a securities services business while contributing to client lifecycle management, regulatory fund services, reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.Through this internship, the successful candidate will gain practical exposure to securities services, KYC processes, Swiss regulatory fund activities, business reporting, audit support and stakeholder management within an international banking environment.Tasks and responsibilities:KYC management for SGSS clientsSupport client onboarding, offboarding and KYC processesMaintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, systems and client recordsAssist with periodic KYC reviews and remediation activitiesLiaise with clients, operational teams and internal stakeholders to ensure timely follow-upPrepare regular status updates and management reportingSwiss Representative Fund general support workSupport regulatory submissions, fund registrations and related documentationMaintain fund records and coordinate with clients and external stakeholdersAssist with publication and listing activitiesMonitor key deadlines and regulatory requirementsReview marketing materials for compliance with local regulationsReporting and statistics managementAssist in the preparation of monthly and quarterly business reports, KPIs, KRIs and management statisticsAudit related tasks, where applicableSupport internal and external audit activities by collecting information, preparing documentation and tracking action itemsBusiness Management Support:Support the preparation of management presentations, dashboards and business reportsAssist with business analyses, market research and ad hoc management requestsContribute to process improvement and digitalisation initiativesSupport the documentation and maintenance of internal proceduresProfile requiredStudies & experience:Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Finance, Banking, Business Administration, Economics or a related fieldCommercial apprenticeship with banking exposure may also be consideredPrevious exposure to banking operations, KYC, compliance or financial services (through internships, apprenticeships or academic projects) is an advantageLanguage skills:Fluent English (written and spoken)French, German or Italian would be considered an assetTechnical, operational & Soft skills:Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPointInterest in leveraging digital and AI tools (e.g. Microsoft Copilot) is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAgility and adaptabilityStrong team spiritProactive and can-do attitudeAbility to synthesize information and present it clearlyStrong communication skillsWhy join usSociété Générale Switzerland is a multi-category bank offering every employee the possibility to have several careers in a professional career path.
