Generali is looking for an Actuary. In this responsible position, you will play a key role in the implementation of actuarial tasks in the area of Claims/Accident Insurance for the new international accounting standard IFRS17 and for the solvency balance sheet. Exciting and varied challenges are waiting for you in the dynamic team of the Actuarial Calculations department.
Main tasks:
- Carrying out provision calculations for the IFRS17 and solvency quarterly balance sheets and planning
- Assisting with data preparation for IFRS17 quarterly financial statements
- Preparing analyses for IFRS17 quarterly financial statements as well as for IFRS17 planning and communication to management
- Supporting the automation of actuarial processes for the IFRS17 and solvency balance sheet
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Degree in mathematics or statistics (preferably with a specialisation in actuarial mathematics)
- Professional experience in property/casualty insurance
- Strong analytical thinking, independent and precise working style
- Very good English level (B2+)
Nice to have:
- Experience in using common MS applications and ResQ software is an advantage
- Good communication skills, ability to build up trustful relationships in a multi-cultural context
- Team attitude, ability to create connections
