The IT Security Specialist will integrate a team of highly skilled people and will be at closely working with not only our Chief Operations Officer but also a wide range of customer, whether they are from GEB, the Generali Group or external.
The ideal candidate will work and coordinate on the following activities:
- Security Operations and Risk Management: Plan, implement, upgrade, or monitor security measures to protect computer networks and information. Assess system vulnerabilities for security risks proposed and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure a robust security posture
- Policy and Standards Enforcement: Ensure that information security policies, standards, and guidelines are effectively applied across the business and systems. Maintain oversight of security controls to safeguard digital files and vital electronic infrastructure, responding promptly to security breaches and viruses. Support and maintain company certifications (ISO 27001, ISAE 3402…)
- Vulnerability Assessment: Conduct regular vulnerability scans against the company's infrastructure, collaborating with the Head Office to interpret results and follow up on critical issues with relevant support teams
- Cybersecurity Program Management: Assist in managing the cybersecurity program for information systems or networks, including strategic planning, personnel management, infrastructure oversight, policy enforcement, emergency planning, security awareness, and resource allocation
- Client Support: Respond to all security-related inquiries from new or existing clients, providing expert advice and guidance on security measures and best practices
- Security Awareness: Oversee the integration/testing, operations, and maintenance of systems security. Conduct security awareness training for new joiners and existing employees. Conduct regular phishing campaigns and information sharing to improve security awareness
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in IT or Cyber Security roles such as Security Officer or Analyst
- Possession of recognized certifications like Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or equivalent credentials
- Proficiency in English is required. Knowledge of French or other languages will be considered a valuable addition
- Proficient in using Windows/VMware and familiarity with various cloud computing platforms
- Demonstrated ability to use third-party tools for vulnerability assessments, antivirus protection, data backup, and software distribution
- Highly organized with a security-focused mindset, capable of managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously
- Collaborative, open-minded, and adaptable team player
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to express ideas clearly, concisely, and structured
- Independent and proactive in taking responsibility for tasks, with the ability to work autonomously and deliver high-quality outcomes within set deadlines
