We are looking for a IT Specialist who will work within Agorai Innovation Hub SpA to become the go-to internal IT person.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Manage the environment, coordinate with the supplier, and ensure continuity and control
- Safeguard critical environment levers: super-admin credentials for Google Workspace and identity; backup keys and recovery authority; the boundary between workplace IT and cloud/DevOps; configuration documentation
- Manage the supplier (MSP) and SLAs
- Identity and Google Workspace. You manage the Workspace tenant and identity management: user onboarding/offboarding, MFA, SSO, groups and permissions, support for Gmail/Drive/Meet (in coordination with Google's partner support)
- Manage the inventory, access, and costs of SaaS tools, aiming to control spending and permissions
- Helpdesk and user support
- Backup and disaster recovery supervision
- Managing the operational IT budget and procurement of devices, coordinating with administration, and helping with the selection and renewal of suppliers
The role is based in Trieste and includes a hybrid work model, offering flexibility through remote working days.
- 2+ years of experience as a system administrator, IT specialist, or equivalent role (also in structured environments or at an MSP)
- Google Workspace / networking / security certifications
- Solid generalist foundation: endpoint management (Windows/macOS/ChromeOS), identity and directory, basic networking (LAN/WiFi, VPN, firewall), backup
- Hands-on experience administering Google Workspace (or equivalent Microsoft 365 environment, with willingness to work on Google)
- Ability to manage a vendor and service relationships: define and verify SLAs, not just execute them
- Organized and methodical in documentation and asset management
- Fluent Italian and good English (written and spoken)

What we offer
We offer employment at the IV level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
The position is offered on a part-time basis. The gross annual salary ranges between €36K and €50K and will be pro-rated according to the agreed working hours. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
