We are looking for a Group AI Discovery & Agentic Design Lead who will define and lead how Generali shows up, is understood and is recommended across AI-powered discovery and pre-sales experiences. The role will sit at the intersection of brand, digital marketing, customer experience, distribution, data and AI, with the ambition to make Generali more visible, trusted and effective in the new AI-mediated customer journey.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Define and own the Group strategy for GEO, AI search visibility, LLM readability and brand presence across emerging discovery environments such as AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, Perplexity and other conversational interfaces
- Build and roll-out a measurable framework to track Generali’s visibility, share of voice, accuracy, sentiment, citation quality and competitive positioning across LLMs and AI-powered search experiences
- Design the target conversational and agentic AI experiences for pre-sales journeys, helping customers understand needs, compare options, receive guidance and move smoothly toward the right product, channel or advisor
- Translate customer questions, search intent and life-event needs into content, data and experience requirements that improve discoverability, trust, conversion and quality of engagement
- Partner with Group stakeholders and local markets to scale AI visibility diagnostics, content optimization, structured knowledge, experimentation and governance across key markets and priority business lines
- Work closely with Data & AI team, IT, Legal, Compliance, Distribution, Customer Experience and Communication teams to ensure AI experiences are accurate, safe, compliant, brand-consistent and commercially relevant
- Identify, evaluate and manage external partners, tools and platforms for GEO tracking, conversational AI, agentic workflows, content intelligence, experimentation and performance analytics
- Create clear executive reporting on progress, risks, opportunities and business impact, linking AI visibility and pre-sales experience improvements to brand consideration, lead quality, conversion and customer lifetime value
Our ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
- Master’s degree in Marketing, Digital, Business, Data, Engineering, Computer Science or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in digital marketing, SEO, customer experience, AI product management, martech, growth or digital transformation, ideally in a complex international organization
- Strong understanding of SEO, AEO, GEO, AI search, LLM behavior, structured content, knowledge graphs, schema, content authority and digital discoverability
- Experience designing or managing conversational AI, chatbots, virtual assistants, agentic workflows, personalization, digital sales journeys or pre-sales advisory experiences
- Solid analytical mindset, with ability to define KPIs, run experiments, interpret data and connect visibility metrics to business outcomes such as consideration, leads, conversion and sales quality
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, distribution, IT, data, legal, compliance and external vendors
- Fluent in English (mandatory). Knowledge of Italian or other European languages is a plus.

What we offer
We offer employment at the Manager level with the relevant salary, in accordance with the CCNL ANIA for non-executive employees and the Generali Group Company Agreement.
Gross annual salary ranging between 60.000,00€ and 75.000,00€. The final offer will be aligned with the candidate’s professional experience, technical and soft skills relevant to the role, and may include an individual variable component.
