Job Description

In this role, you will join the Visa Intelligent Authorization (VIA) product team within Acceptance Solutions. VIA is a modern acquiring platform that provides secure, scalable, and compliant access to a broad range of global payment services.

Responsibilities

Basic Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

5 or more years of relevant experience in product development.

End-to-end understanding of Visa and other global payment scheme services, including authorization, clearing, settlement, and related processes.

Ability to manage the full lifecycle of payment products.

Proven ability to develop new products for B2B clients, including acquirers, processors, and large merchants.

Understanding of transaction processing services such as fraud, risk, digital, and mobile, along with payment industry standards including ISO 8583, EMV, 3DS, and PSD2, is a plus.

Strong understanding of card payment scheme compliance and the industry regulatory framework.

Strong influencing skills and the ability to lead diverse, cross-functional teams across time zones, geographies, and cultures without direct authority.

Preferred Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications:

8 or more years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, at least 5 years with an advanced degree (for example, a master’s, MBA, JD, or MD), or 2 years with a PhD.

5 or more years of experience in a payment processing environment.

5 or more years of experience in product lifecycle management.

Strong experience working in agile environments, preferably the Scaled Agile Framework, and with process management tools such as JIRA and JIRA Align.

Proven ability to develop roadmaps, write user stories, manage product backlogs, and prioritize competing requirements in a dynamic environment.

Collaborative team player with broad experience partnering with subject matter experts, product teams, architects, and software engineers.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to think strategically and independently.

Excellent communication skills, including the ability to clearly and concisely communicate project issues and risks to executive audiences.

Strong customer-centric mindset.

Strong testing skills, including the ability to think like an end user and perform user acceptance testing.

The estimated salary range for this position is $152,200 to $243,700 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
