Do you have a strong understanding of the insurance business within wealth management?Are you motivated to grow insurance solutions and partnerships while supporting client advisors and sales teams?
We’re looking for an Insurance Business Specialist to:
・oversee the Insurance business within Global Wealth Management (GWM) Japan
・manage the onboarding and implementation of new insurance solutions
・drive insurance sales promotion in close collaboration with advisory and sales teams
・liaise with insurance firms and act as an agent, including reporting responsibilities to insurance providers
・contribute to Continuous Advisor (CA) education related to insurance products, processes, and regulations

You’ll be working in the Global Wealth Management Japan in Tokyo. We’re responsible for delivering comprehensive wealth management solutions to our clients, including insurance offerings, by combining strong product expertise with close collaboration across advisory, sales, and partner organizations. As an insurance specialist working seamlessly with many parts of the business, you’ll help ensure our insurance solutions are effectively positioned, compliant, and accessible to advisors and clients.Your expertise
・ideally several years of experience in insurance, wealth management, private banking, or a related financial services role・solid knowledge and hands-on experience with life insurance and related insurance solutions
・bachelor’s degree or equivalent in finance, economics, business administration, or a related discipline
・strong understanding of insurance distribution, regulatory requirements, and agent responsibilities
・structured, accurate, and detail-oriented work style with a strong focus on risk management and compliance
・collaborative team player with strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills
・business level in English; proficiency in Japanese is highly desirable to communicate with the regional stakeholders and support the local client base
・You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
