Do you like being a leader who provides world class service to clients and branches while working with US onshore cost basis team as well as other internal departments.We’re looking for a Cost Basis Associate Director:
Lead a team to reconcile breaks to ensure cost basis data is accurate for US tax reporting
Support the branch network and update cost basis information in clients’ accounts
Update tax lot data for external transfers for new accounts coming into the bank
Adapt current, as well as establish new processes that allow the department to increase quality output

You’ll be working in the Cost Basis team in Mumbai India as well as colleagues from multiple locations in the U.S. This team is responsible for servicing, managing, and correcting cost information on assets held at UBS. Through research and problem solving, all team members collaborate to expand and share product knowledge within the department for various security types held at UBS. The working hours will include a late night shift to align with the U.S. exchanges trading hours. Our goal is provide timely and accurate tax reporting as well as providing assistance to branches in order to provide the client a personal and authentic experience.Your expertise
You’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.Bachelors degree in business related field
Experience - 10 - 15 years
Excellent data analysis skills with a focus on reconciliations
Highly focused on client service and customer satisfaction
Leadership skills with experience managing teams
Ability to communicate professionally and clearly in high pressure situations
Adaptable to a changing landscape of rules and regulations
Strong leadership capability and Excellent people skills.
Technology and automation expertise.
Initiative and ability to drive change.
Experience documenting requirements and improving processes.
Comfort working with AI and automation initiatives.
