Are you a motivated, analytically minded professional who thrives at the intersection of strategy, operations, and collaboration? Do you get energized by turning complex data into clear insights and helping high-performing teams run at their best? If so, this could be the role for you.

About the Role

As an Operations Analyst within the L&H Executive Office, you will be a key enabler of operational excellence across the Americas Market Units of L&H Re, P&C Re and the In-Force Optimization team. Working closely with the Department Operations Officers (DOOs), you will contribute to a wide range of strategic and operational priorities — from performance reporting and governance to executive communications, event management, to audit coordination and operational risk management. This is a dynamic, high-visibility role in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your work will help provide information and coordination to support leadership decision-making and business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

About the Team

The L&H Executive Office sits within the L&H Re Division Operations & Advisory and serves as the strategic and operational backbone for the Americas Market Units. The Department Operations Officers (DOOs) act as trusted business partners to the Managing Directors and their leadership teams, driving and supporting a diverse range of topics — from strategy and operations to people and culture. As an Operations Analyst, you will be an individual contributor reporting to the Lead DOO L&H North America, embedded in a team that is intellectually curious, collaborative, and deeply committed to enabling the business to operate at its best.

About You

You are a self-starter who brings integrity, curiosity, and a collaborative spirit to everything you do. You are comfortable navigating ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and engaging with stakeholders across all levels of a global organization. You combine strong analytical skills with clear communication, and you are passionate about using data and digital tools to drive smarter, faster decisions.

We are looking for candidates who meet these requirements:

These are additional nice to haves:

Our company has a hybrid work model where the expectation is that you will be in the office at least three days per week.

The base salary hiring range for this new position is CAD $75,000-$110,000. The specific base salary offered for this or any given role will take into account a number of factors including but not limited to job location, scope of role, qualifications, complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent, experience, education, and employer budget.  At Swiss Re, we take a "total compensation approach" when making compensation decisions.
