Duties and Responsibilities
The United Nations Resident Coordinator's Office (RCO) in North Macedonia leads and coordinates the work of the UN Country Team (UNCT) in support of the Government's national development priorities and the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. As part of the UN's ongoing efforts to strengthen digital transformation, data governance, and evidence-based decision-making, the RCO is expanding its capacity to support the UNCT in the responsible adoption of digital tools, artificial intelligence (AI), and modern data practices. The UN Development Coordination Office (DCO) has placed increasing emphasis on digital transformation, data-driven programming, and the responsible use of emerging technologies as cross-cutting priorities for Resident Coordinator Offices worldwide. In this context, the RCO in North Macedonia seeks a motivated intern to support its work on digital transformation, data governance, and capacity building across the UNCT, contributing directly to a more coordinated, evidence-based, and digitally enabled UN presence in the country.
