About the Role:


As Head of Investments Legal, Asia Pacific, based in Hong Kong and reporting to the Head of Legal, Asia Pacific, you will lead legal support for the region’s investment, trading and operational activities, with a particular focus on private markets and investment-related matters. You will act as a senior legal adviser to investment, trading and business leaders, provide clear and commercially grounded advice on complex legal and regulatory issues, and help drive coordinated regional legal support across APAC.


You are:


A seasoned investment management lawyer with deep private funds formation expertise and exposure to multiple asset classes. You combine technical strength with commercial judgment, strategic thinking and the ability to solve complex, nuanced problems pragmatically. You act as a credible thought partner to senior stakeholders and are comfortable working close to the business while maintaining sound risk judgment and professional independence. You bring a “getting to yes” mindset, balanced by the maturity and confidence to articulate risk clearly, have difficult conversations constructively and lead teams with clarity, humility and resilience.


The role also offers the opportunity to contribute to broader regional and global legal initiatives, including regulatory, fund-related and investment management matters supporting Invesco’s public-side businesses.
