Assistant Vice President Expectations

In this role, you will support the day-to-day delivery of a high-profile change programme within the Pensions Team (part of HR’s Reward & Performance function), helping to coordinate activity and governance across multiple workstreams. Working closely with programme leads, workstream leads and pensions SMEs (deep pensions expertise is not required), you will play a key role in maintaining effective project controls and governance processes, ensuring activities remain on track and stakeholders are kept informed. Responsibilities will include maintaining RAID logs, action trackers and decision logs, managing governance calendars, coordinating forums and meetings, preparing meeting materials and reporting, and tracking actions and deliverables through to completion. You will also support the monitoring of risks, issues, dependencies and milestones, helping to maintain programme momentum and facilitate timely escalation where required.

As an Assistant Vice President, you will bring a Project Management or PMO background, applying analytical thinking, organisation and attention to detail within a complex, finance-linked environment. You will engage with stakeholders across HR, Finance and Treasury, supporting effective communication, informed decision-making and issue resolution, while handling sensitive information with discretion. Using AI and technology tools to synthesise information, generate concise updates and improve reporting efficiency, you will help translate evolving requirements into structured plans and deliverables. Success in this role will require the ability to manage multiple priorities, build effective relationships and proactively support the conversion of strategic objectives into actionable plans, milestones and outcomes within a fast-paced, multi-workstream programme environment.
