As a Private Banker within Barclays Private Bank, you will play a pivotal role in managing relationships with charities, not-for-profits, foundations, education institutions and endowments across the UK. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will be responsible for identifying clients’ financial goals, challenges, and risk appetites, tailoring bespoke banking, lending, and investment strategies that deliver meaningful outcomes. You will support the management and growth of an existing book of clients, working closely with a well-established team while contributing to business development and strategic growth across the sector.


In this client-facing role, you will engage with a wide spectrum of stakeholders, assessing financial, operational, and legal risks while ensuring transparent documentation and consistent alignment with the bank's regulatory and ethical frameworks. Your understanding of sector-specific trends, regulatory shifts, and ESG considerations will shape tailored recommendations and investment solutions that reflect both fiduciary duty and long-term sustainability.

You will be responsible for proactively monitoring client satisfaction, revenue performance, and key success metrics, ensuring a high level of service delivery and continuously evolving the value proposition in line with client needs and the bank’s broader strategic vision.

This role is deemed as a Certified role under the PRA & UK Financial Conduct Authority - Individual Accountabilities Regulations and may require the role holder to hold mandatory regulatory qualifications or the minimum qualifications to meet internal company benchmarks.
