Job Description
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Operational Risk, the position of Group Risk Specialist, Process & Execution Risk Programs manages the development, implementation, support and reporting of Process & Execution Risk Programs (including RCSA, Control Testing and Key Indicators)
Lead the design, execution and continuous improvement of RCSA, Control Testing and Key Indicators programs ensuring ongoing program effectiveness
Ensure alignment of programs with enterprise-wide risk frameworks and regulatory expectations
Develop strategy enhancement opportunities to ensure continuous improvement to meet a changing environment and align with industry best practice
Develop and lead communication tactics to support business partners
Use data analytics to provide meaningful information at the Business and enterprise level on Process & Execution Risk and overall program performance
Ensure that all program requirements are met, and reporting/analytics are accurate
Work with a broad range of stakeholders to ensure program alignment across the Enterprise
Represent operational risk in cross-functional initiatives such as EGRC
Proactively analyze potential risks and ensure escalation of key risks to appropriate areas and/or executive review with business executive findings and action plans to mitigate and manage these risks
Communicate difficult concepts; convert information into compelling business context and advice and influence and gains alignment across increasingly senior stakeholders
Lead or implement remediation plans to address performance, risk or governance issues
Strong knowledge of Operational Risk principles and programs including RCSA, Control Testing and/or Key Indicators
Expertise in data management practices
Prior experience building PowerBI reports
Strategic thought leadership to evolve programs to meet changing environment
Ability to deal with significant ambiguity and constantly changing circumstances
Organizational awareness, understanding of where to engage in order to deal with issues
Self-starter with demonstrated ability to take initiative and work independently
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
Confident, transparent and concise communicator
