Role Purpose

This role will be based in Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) and will assist in delivery of consolidated financial results of key financial metrics (primarily Embedded Value basis reporting, including but not limited to NBP, OFSG, monetisation, and IFRS 17 reporting). This role will be integral part of Group Financial Performance Management team and will work closely with broader Group Performance Management team which is based in Group Office Hong Kong.

Key Accountabilities

Assist in consolidation and analysis of the Group and LBU level financial results and forecasts on a regular basis.

Familiarise with the enterprise-wide financial reporting systems (including MI and regulatory reporting systems) and assist in the data process of financial results with appropriate validations.

Assist in the production of presentations to senior management

Work closely with the broader team with go-getter attitude to improve existing processes.

Support ad hoc tasks as assigned by supervisor

Requirements

A degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent.

0-2 years of work experience in Actuarial / Accounting / Finance domain.

Experience with financial reporting system OneStream and other analytical applications such as Cognos, POWER BI would be an advantage.

Intermediate level of understanding of MS Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).

Excellent communication skills.

Independent and self-starter.
