About DWS Digital Distribution
Xtrackers by DWS is one of Europe’s leading providers of high-quality passive investment solutions. Offering efficient exposure to diversified indices and single commodities, Xtrackers ETFs and ETCs serve as reliable tools for effective portfolio allocation across wrappers.
The Digital Distribution EMEA Team is responsible for driving growth across retail‑focused investment platforms, including online and neo‑brokers, robo‑advisors, and other self‑directed channels. Working closely with local sales teams and cross‑functional partners in Client Coverage, Marketing, Product, and more, the team aims to expand Xtrackers’ strategic footprint and brand visibility across digital channels in EMEA. Currently, Xtrackers maintains 45 strategic partnerships with digital platforms and is actively expanding this network.
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to lead the digital distribution with a strong focus on the German market.
Senior Coverage Specialist (Digital Distribution DE)
- Own and develop selected Tier 1 and Tier 2 German self‑directed investment platforms, with a a expansion of the Xtrackers/ DWS footprint across products and solutions
- Lead coverage of robo‑advisory and digital discretionary portfolio management (DPM) platforms, with a clear mandate to grow our Xtrackers/ DWS wallet share
- Develop and implement a dedicated strategy to grow the footprint of non‑ETF products across digital channels, with a clear focus on Germany
- Originate, structure and execute new digital distribution opportunities
- Negotiate commercial terms and conditions and manage agreements end‑to‑end, from setup to implementation
- Identify and drive educational formats and initiatives in close collaboration with Marketing to enhance brand visibility and retail investor engagement
- Structure and present new business opportunities to Xtrackers senior management and key internal stakeholders
The successful candidate will be hired under the Functional Role Title: Senior Coverage Specialist (m/f/d)

Qualifications & Experience
- University Degree in Finance or similar discipline
- Proven track record in working with self‑directed investment platforms (e.g., online/neo brokers)
- Deep understanding of the fintech ecosystem and digital distribution landscape.
- Experience with structuring distribution agreements and working closely with legal and compliance departments
- Track record of working closely with marketing and communication departments
Skills & Competencies
- Strong negotiation and relationship management skills
- Solid experience in structuring business cases and presenting to senior stakeholders
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities
- Quick comprehension, analytical mindset, and a proactive, results‑driven attitude
- High level of initiative, independence, and assertiveness
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access is a plus)
- Strong team player with a collaborative mindset
- Fluent in English and German
