Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Process cheque issuance and telegraphic transfers for policy payments
- Manage payment refunds and perform SAP bookings for related transactions
- Facilitate fund transfers in operating bank accounts and ensure timely processing
- Handle reinsurance settlements and perform SAP bookings
- Process stop payments and stale cheques
- Conduct interface checking
- Download ebanking reports for reconciliation
- Handle enquiries from Operations and Distribution and banks
- Handle ad hoc assignments as and when required
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration with accounting knowledge, or related field.
- At least 2 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in a corporate setting.
- Practical experience in cheque payment and ebanking operations is a MUST.
- Proficiency in SAP and strong knowledge of financial processes.
- Being a fast learner to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and departments.
