The Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing the company’s Environmental, Health, and Safety programs within a unionized manufacturing environment. This role ensures compliance with regulatory and ISO requirements, drives continuous improvement in safety and environmental performance, and fosters a proactive culture of safety. The EHS Coordinator collaborates closely with site management, union leadership, employees, contractors, and external agencies to minimize risk and support sustainable manufacturing operations.

Education

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health & Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Experience

Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an EHS leadership or coordinator role.

Experience in unionized manufacturing, industrial, construction, or renewable energy environments preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

Certified Safety Professional (CSP)

Occupational Health and Safety Technologist (OHST)

Equivalent certifications considered with additional relevant experience
