About GCB
Global Commercial Banking (GCB) clients generally include Middle Market companies across a wide spectrum of industries, including commercial real estate firms, non-bank financial institutions, auto dealerships, sports leagues, teams and stadiums, healthcare, education and not-for-profit companies in North America. GCB is one of the largest commercial banks in the U.S., serving more than 9,000 clients – one in three U.S. companies with revenues of $50 million to more than $2 billion.
Responsibilities
This is a Treasury Sales Officer role, managing a portfolio of the subsidiaries of US HQ-ed Commercial Banking clients in the Mumbai region
Success is defined by new sales wins, revenue growth and retention within a predefined portfolio as a corporate sales consultant across treasury, trade and FX
Engage key decision makers of the largest and most demanding clients and advancing relationships holistically, from initiating access and dialogue, to building material relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
Work closely with the APAC Regional Treasury Sales team, other regions, and the GCB banking team to deliver solutions to our clients
Pro-active approach to sales, sending unsolicited proposals, leading client engagement and pitches / presentations
Respond to RFPs (Requests for Proposal)
Constantly review client names to ensure that the names achieve and maintain hurdle profitability levels
Identify and implement revenue opportunities for names assigned via cross-sell opportunities through ongoing discussions with clients
Coordinate with implementation and service teams to ensure smooth implementation and high client satisfaction
Ensure timely resolution of relationship-sensitive client servicing issues within the organization and act as the senior escalation point in relationship-sensitive key service issues
Completion of ad-hoc projects related to the Global Commercial Banking business, or the larger Global Payments Solutions organization
Requirements
Relevant cash and trade sales or relationship management experience within a top tier international/ regional bank
Familiarity with nuances of the India market, including applicable rules and regulations for foreign companies
Proven track record in managing complex cash and trade deals for multinational corporations
Excellent written and oral communication skills, in English.

Knowledge of Corporate Treasury functions

Strong OA and AI skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Copilot, Salesforce, etc)
Desired Skills
B.S. or B.A. in finance, accounting, management, or another undergraduate degree
Certified Treasury Professional Certification (CTP) or equivalent
International Cash Management, Card Solutions, and/or Trade & Supply Chain Finance experience
Experience dealing with Non-Bank Financial Institutions is a plus
