Department Overview
Nomura's Global Markets department offers clients worldwide liquidity, market insights, and execution services across multiple asset classes, including equities, fixed income, currencies, and commodities. Responsibilities
- Senior AEJ Strategist in AEJ focusing on successfully building and maintaining Nomura’s thematic and fundamental equity research coverage across Asia Pacific collaborating with Japan equity strategy team.
- Responsible for research reports, coordinating all Nomura research across APAC region and formulating our view on the Asia equity markets.
- Responsible for aligning and coordinating Nomura's APAC country research and aligning strategy, sector research and views with overall Asia ex-Japan regional equity markets.
- Partner effectively with equity colleagues in Sales and Sales Trading on Nomura’s product offerings to clients.
Requirements
- Extensive and successful research background in the Asia region including proven Institutional Investor and other investor poll recognition.
- 10+ years of experience in successful equity strategist or research roles with a highly in-depth knowledge of the equity market with equity research expertise.
- Strong leadership, management skills, and sound commercial business acumen
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Proven experience in communicating with team, broader research, sales, trading, and clients.
- Highly energetic with superior understanding of the firm’s clients’ needs
- Excellent spoken and written English
