Credit Decision and Project Finance Senior Manager
Location: Istanbul, Istanbul, Türkiye
We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Credit Decision and Project Finance Senior Manager to lead a team of 5–6 professionals responsible for preparing comprehensive credit proposal packages for a portfolio of 50–60 large corporate groups. This role is based within the Corporate Banking and works in cooperation with Coverage team, conducts the relations with Corporate Credits Team at TEB and Risk People at BNP Paribas.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the end-to-end preparation of detailed credit proposals, including group overview, financial analysis, projections, and risk assessments
- Presentation to the relevant Credit Committees both in local and BNP Paribas
- Act as the key liaison with the global stakeholders, managing all written correspondence, Q&A, and information flow in English
- Conduct direct meetings with clients to gather insights and validate assumptions
- Monitor and manage annual credit reviews and updates for assigned groups
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting related to the credit portfolio and associated risks
- Mentor and support team members, ensuring high-quality analysis and consistency in deliverables
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of 7 years’ experience in corporate banking, with a strong focus on credit analysis of large corporate clients
- Proven experience in credit underwriting and a solid understanding of risk evaluation.
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Excellent command of written and spoken English (required – this is the working language)
- Experience in preparing and presenting materials in English to Credit Committees is a strong advantage
