About the job
The Credit Risk Monitoring Analyst monitors credit risk exposures to ensure the bank respects its risk appetite. The responsibilities include monitoring, analysis, decision making and constant discussion with all stakeholders
Your Main Activities Are
In charge of producing analysis and reporting to management on credit risk, ensuring the consistency of the information on the agreed timelines, raising alert to management in any situation deemed sensitive; Progressively gain autonomy to deal with critical overdrafts and request support from senior colleagues to schedule and host meetings when required
For the standard, recurrent cases ensure an efficient monitoring by assessing the risk and take a credit risk decision in a timely manner, being able to maintain client focus while respecting RISK guidelines
With the guidance of senior members, gain autonomy to handle more complex requests. This might include specific portfolio analysis; stress test or leading crisis calls with the support of senior colleagues
Progressively gain autonomy to contribute both to business and credit teams needs with analysis and suggestions regarding the calibration of limits adequate to the clients' activity
Monitor the data quality of the risk metrics in scope in the appropriate risk systems and collaborate to corrections when necessary; Work together with IT development and Business Analysts to ensure all system improvements continue to maintain the expected quality of risk metrics data
Profile and Skills to Success
- Bachelor’s Degree in Economics / Finance / Accounting / Business Management or related
- Up to 2 years of experience in Financial Analysis and Advisory / Risk and Controls / Banking and Financial Operations or similar
- Advanced level of English, both written and oral
- Knowledge in MS Office Excel
- Attention to detail / rigor
- Ability to collaborate / teamwork
