Position Purpose

Mission takes place within the I&A Squad, whose goal is to handle autonomously the RUN activities (morning-checks verifications, incident management, production support, user assistance, etc.) as well as the CHANGE activities. The squad shares common motivations: proximity to the business line, agility, and quality of delivered services, combining business-line skills with IT expertise. 

Responsibilities

Main Responsibilities  Operations / Maintenance  Investigate and resolve technical incidents  Implement or apply bug fixes to fix anomalies  Remediate security vulnerabilities  Support the deployment of the latest Starcust vendor releases  Support deployment plan executions (on-call duties and night/weekend work, 1-2 times per month)  Propose improvements and action plans for recurring incidents  Contribute to preparations for extreme application exercises  Assist users with technical issues  Development  Design, develop, test and maintain Java, Angular, SQL code, Control-M jobs, KSH scripts  Estimate costs and timelines  Create and update production and technical documentation as needed  Prepare test environments and support testing phases  Perform non-regression testing to ensure technical stability  Contributing Responsibilities  Agile Participation  Participate in agile rituals, including quarterly agile / sprint plannings, daily meetings, reviews and retrospectives  Estimate tasks and commit to sprint goals with squad members  Provide technical support to the team  Analytical skills and business / user requirements analysis  Understanding the functional requirements  Analyze functional requirements and propose technical solutions  Identify non-functional requirements and integrate them into proposals  Estimate roughly solutions costs  Identify and raise alerts on weak/obsolete code already implemented 

Technical & Soft skills

Ability to combine technical and non-technical / soft skills to address complex challenges and drive business value  Ability to actively participate in workshops with business analysts, tech lead, and product owner to discuss business needs and identify solutions that deliver the most business value  Ability to analyze constraints and identify alternative technical solutions to maximize delivery, while minimizing risks and ensuring compliance with budget and timeline requirements  Ability to interpret and optimize execution plans (EXPLAIN PLAN), manage indexes, and apply best practices for databases.  Ability to organize oneself to achieve ticket closure, track progress, follow up, and escalateto teams as needed 

Specific Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience along with Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
