Operational Permanent Control Officer – Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Shape operational risk and control frameworks at BNP Paribas while advancing diversity and sustainability.
v Operational Permanent Control
- · Provide professional comments to internal governance, processes, procedures, controls, and action plans;
- · Monitor and follow up with respective stakeholders on due and coming due procedures;
- · Ensure that the control plans are executed timely and accurately;
- · Identify, clarify, record, monitor all operational errors and incidents where relevant;
- · Follow up, monitor the findings/recommendations issued by internal/external inspections;
- · Support the Risk and Control Self-Assessment Exercises as and when required;
- · Prepare ad-hoc/regular regulatory/management reports/dashboards/meeting decks;
- · Support the Head of Department having a clear view on operational risks for BNP Paribas in Vietnam and actions to be taken;
- · Report in regional committees on control results and operational risks (ef: SEA ORMF, TICC);
v Third-Party Risk Management
- · Act as the back-up for Local Outsourcing Coordinator;
- · Facilitate the process of all intragroup/external outsourcing project/service;
- · Update Risk 360AR and ensure the high data quality;
- · Perform safe-keeping of original versions of executed intragroup service level agreements;
- · Participate in the Annual Operational Performance Review process;
v Business Continuity Management
- · Monitor various testing/exercises and reports for business continuity management as per local and internal requirements;
- · Compose other kinds of business continuity documentations (i.e.: Business Impact Analysis, Master Business Continuity Plan, Contingency Plan, and Pandemic Plan);
v Contributing Responsibilities
· Contribute to
- o The efficiency of internal control and operational risk management framework;
- o The transparency of information with Regional and Group teams;
· Develop innovations within the department;
· Bring new ideas of enhancements;
· Back up for Head of Department as per the back-up plan;
· Other tasks as assigned from time to time by Head of Department;
Competencies (Technical/Behavior)
Good understanding about banking operations, client services and local regulations
Logicality and good analysis skills
Hard workings
Computer and English efficiency
Specific Qualifications Required
- Banking experience is required;
- Audit background is preferred;
- At least 3 years of experience.
