KYC Officer
We’re seeking a highly skilled KYC Officer to join our team in Warsaw, responsible for managing and monitoring the KYC process for prospective and existing clients. The successful candidate will ensure compliance with all relevant BNP Paribas policies and applicable regulations, while providing a world‑class client experience. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a leading banking group and contribute to our award‑winning sustainability efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor or Master\'s degree in Business Administration/Finance
- Experience in the financial services industry, preferably in client service/sales assistance or KYC/AML regulations
- Good knowledge of fund distribution landscape, rules, regulations, and legal structures
- Excellent command of English, written and spoken
- Data savvy with working knowledge of Excel and ability to extract, analyze, and prepare reporting on KYC‑related data
- Digital savvy with working knowledge of main MS Office applications and collaborative online tools
- Ability to work in a dynamic and fast‑paced environment with a growth mindset
Responsibilities
- Initiate and perform KYC/AML analysis of distributors, institutional investors, and beneficial owners
- Collect and record required information and documents from internal databases, external sources, and clients
- Perform and review Client Risk Scoring and coordinate the onboarding or recertification decision process
- Maintain Clients\' KYC/AML data in relevant systems and ensure compliance with BNP Paribas Group policies and local regulations
- Perform 1st Line of Defence controls and maintain a robust control framework
- Collaborate with Sales, Client Account Management, and Compliance teams to improve the quality of service provided
- Ensure timely and flawless execution of KYC/AML reviews to enable business opportunities and ensure a world‑class client experience
