Job Title : Securities Settlement Specialist

Business Line / Function: Wealth Management
The Wealth Management (WM) Trust team (Taiwan) is responsible for ensuring the efficient and compliant processing of trust activities, including the settlement of securities trades. This role plays a critical part in maintaining operational excellence and regulatory compliance for trust operations in the APAC region.
Position Purpose
The Securities Settlement Specialist is responsible for:
- · Processing the daily operations of trust activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- · Monitoring settlement fails, investigating root causes, and executing remediation actions.
- · Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- · Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.
- · This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented, and collaborative approach to support the team in maintaining seamless trust operations.
Responsibilities:
Direct Responsibilities
- Process the settlement of securities trades, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Monitor settlement fails, investigate root causes, and execute timely remediation actions.
- Ensure all trust operations comply with regulations and internal policies, while identifying and mitigating operational risks.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Contributing Responsibilities:
- Participate in workflow improvement initiatives to streamline operations.
- Support ad-hoc projects as required by the team or management.

Specific Qualifications:
Education Level: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (3 years) in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience Level: At least 1 year of relevant experience in a similar domain.
