Position Purpose
Position Purpose: The opening is for a Java developer who can design and develop for the upcoming changes to the existing as well as new asset within division. This role is technology oriented, which includes defining development methodologies, hands on development for new projects/evolutions, support, providing technical solutions and performing POC for new relevant frameworks available in market. Knowledge and experience in the Wealth Management (Private Banking) domain is a good to have. (Credit and Risk functions).
Responsibilities
Responsibilities Direct Responsibilities o Development for Credit risk applications in J2EE framework (Rest APIs, APACHE KAFKA, Spring, batch processes, DB design, Angular, JSP, JSON, JQuery, HTML5, JSP, AJAX, HTTP & HTTPS protocol.) o Work with the Business Analyst and Solution architects to understand the business requirements and translate them to technical solutions in the application. o Perform quality Unit, Integration tests (Test & Business Driven Development is preferred.) o Assist test team in performance & endurance testing. o Contribute / review technical specifications. o Propose technical solutions and improvements proactively, based on pros and cons after analysis of the various options. o Prepare technical deliveries and support implementation by integration teams following the processes and tools of the bank. o Contribute to key and strategic projects. o Follow scrum agile ceremonies with discipline and responsibility Contributing Responsibilities Provide guidance to team members and work Participate to recruitment, onboard and train newcomers o Perform quality reporting and controls in line with BNP PARIBAS standards & security
