MISSION
As a Legal Counsel, you will safeguard the bank’s digital and contractual landscape. You’ll monitor regulatory changes, advise business units, and ensure privacy‑by‑design across products. Your guidance will translate complex law into actionable measures, protecting our customers and strengthening BNPP PF’s market leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Identify and assess legal risks stemming from contracts, data‑privacy and cybersecurity activities.
- Monitor legislation (GDPR, anti‑corruption, sector‑specific rules) and issue timely alerts to stakeholders.
- Draft, review and improve electronic contracting processes, including e‑signature and authentication standards.
- Provide legal support for product design, project lifecycles and digital‑IP initiatives, delivering training as needed.
- Liaise with external counsel, regulators and the Spanish Data Protection Authority to resolve inspections and breaches.
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Law degree (LL.B, J.D. or equivalent) and active licence to practise in Spain.
- Minimum 1 year experience in commercial contract law, preferably within a multinational or tech‑focused firm.
- Strong knowledge of GDPR, data‑protection and sector‑specific regulations.
- Excellent analytical, drafting and English communication skills; French is a plus.
- Ability to balance commercial goals with risk mitigation and to lead cross‑functional training.
- Proficiency with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools and a proactive, ethical mindset.
