About Business line/Function: Fund Accounting/Administration

Position Purpose: Fund Accounting operation / production

Responsibilities: Daily Operations (Delivery of Daily Net Asset value of Mutual funds) & People Management

Direct Responsibilities

The role requires very strong Organizational skills. In this role individual would be expected to have full understanding of process and control and to be involved in production as preparer/ reviewer of funds.

Candidate will be expected to work closely with the teams within FA & other satellite teams.

Solid technical understanding of Fund Accounting / Fund Services functions and across fund structures is expected. Anticipation of issue and risk assessment would be key and timely escalating to appropriate team/ escalation contact would be expected.

Ensure audit protocols are followed by the team. Perform periodic independent control to ensure adherence. Identify proactively, control gaps and take mitigating steps. Act as SPOC during audit period.

Ensure incident management protocol is followed by self and the team.

Ensure procedures are in place to effectively deal with exceptions and that they are reviewed, researched, documented and resolved in a timely manner.

Demonstration of commitment to ensure continuous process improvement to achieve efficiency targets.

Effective and Strong Communication Skill required for this role
