Senior Manager, Investment Management – Hong Kong – Lead strategic asset allocation, portfolio construction, and investment compliance.

Job Accountabilities
- Perform analysis and provide input on all stages of Strategic Assets Allocation (SAA) development and implementation
- Support the local implementation of the approved asset allocation, within the restrictions and limits given, i.e. tactical asset allocation
- Collaborate with the Product Development team on new Life insurance product initiatives
- Provide assistance in portfolio construction, asset manager selection and investment expense management
- Monitor and evaluate external asset managers
- Assess RBC & risk-return trade-offs and drive discussion around risk mitigation for unrewarded risks
- Understand the liability description and determine the optimal ALM positioning based on the information provided by Life Actuarial / GI Actuarial
- Support the investment income planning and forecasting
- Support the preparation and arrangement of investment committees (preparation of presentation deck and reports)
- Implement investment decisions approved by the investment committee
- Ensure compliance with Group governance standards (ZRP) and local statutory requirements
- Research, evaluate and stay up-to-date on the local market and macroeconomic situation
Job Qualification
- Bachelor's degree with minimum 8 years of relevant investment or actuarial experience, ideally with exposure to insurance industry
- Candidate with less experience may be considered as Manager
- Progressing to CFA designation is a plus
- Familiar with institutional asset management, investment accounting, financial planning, actuarial or similar field
- Excellent understanding of Life insurance products and knowledge of public and private capital markets
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills in finance and capital markets
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written; Cantonese & Mandarin is considered an advantage
