Underwriting & Operations Specialist in Trivìste or Milan, combining protection product underwriting with claim and operational support.
Seeking a detail‑oriented professional with experience in Term Life/TCM, analytics, and cross‑functional collaboration.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our Direct Protection Business team in a key role combining underwriting responsibilities and operational support .
The role sits at the heart of the end-to-end management of the protection portfolio (mainly Term Life/TCM and protection products ) and requires close interaction with internal teams, external providers and partners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support underwriting activities for protection products (Term Life / TCM)
- Manage claim support activities (overseeing the end-to-end management of claims, from notification to settlement)
- Provide operation support to Direct business channel, acting as key contact for external service providers (customer care, operational outsourcers) and monitoring service quality (KPIs, SLAs, call quality, ticket handling)
- Support customer care and backoffice operations
- Provide second-level support to the contact center, handling escalated client queries and complex cases
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree would be a plus
- 2–5 years of experience in life insurance, preferably in underwriting (medical and non-medical), or operations with exposure to underwriting/claims
- Experience with protection products (Term Life / TCM) would be a plus
- Familiarity with insurance regulations (GDPR, AML) would be a plus
- Generative AI knowledge would be a plus
- Strong analytical skills and ability to manage operational data/reporting
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Problem-solving mindset and proactive attitude
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
- Team player with a collaborative approach
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- Fluent in Italian and English, written and spoken
Pursuant to Article 5(1) of Legislative Decree No. 96 of 7 May 2026, as amended and supplemented from time to time, the range applicable to the position offered is between €33.500 gross and €37.000 gross. Employment will be subject to the terms and conditions set forth in the National Collective Labor Agreement for Insurance Companies and the applicable Company Agreement. The final determination of the starting remuneration will be based on an evaluation of the candidate's qualifications, skills, and relevant experience in relation to the requirements of the role.
