Senior Commercial & Service Manager role in Budapest driving HR IT services across Time, Pay, & Pension.

About the Job:
This role is responsible for managing and governing regional HR IT services in the Time, Pay, and Pension domain. You will ensure operational stability, drive commercial transparency, and support the continuous evolution of the service landscape in alignment with the global HR IT strategy. Acting at the intersection of IT, HR, and Finance, you will play a key role in delivering high‑quality, cost‑efficient services across multiple countries and vendors.
What You Do:
- Own and drive end‑to‑end service management for regional Time, Pay, and Pension systems, ensuring stable and compliant RUN operations across application support, incident/change management, and service performance monitoring (SLAs, KPIs)
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors (e.g. ADP, Neeyamo) to ensure seamless service delivery and support onboarding of new countries, systems, or vendors
- Define and manage the commercial model for regional HR IT services, including service costing, cross‑charging mechanisms, and budget planning, ensuring full transparency of costs and efficiency
- Collaborate with Finance and Service Owners to align cost structures with delivery and support financial planning cycles (e.g. mid‑term planning, budget rounds)
- Contribute to the evolution of the Target Operating Model, drive service standardization and globalization, and identify continuous improvements through automation, process optimization, and cost efficiency
- Ensure adherence to data protection (GDPR, PIA/DPO), security standards (ISO, BCM, penetration testing), and support audit readiness and compliance reporting
- Act as a key interface between IT, HR, Finance, and external vendors, providing regular service and financial reporting to stakeholders and management
- Support service expansion, globalization initiatives, and alignment with the global HR IT strategy (e.g. harmonized platforms, integration landscape)
What You Bring:
- Proven experience in HR IT service management, ideally covering Payroll, Time, or Pension systems, with a strong background in commercial management and IT financials (costing, budgeting, cross‑charging)
- Experience working with global or regional service delivery models and managing complex multi‑vendor environments
- Strong commercial and financial acumen combined with a solid understanding of IT service management frameworks (ITIL or similar)
- Excellent stakeholder management skills at senior level, with the ability to act as a trusted interface between IT, HR, Finance, and external partners
- Analytical and structured problem‑solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Nice to have:
- Experience with SAP HCM / SuccessFactors / global payroll vendors
- Knowledge of global payroll, time management, and pension processes
- Experience in transformation or large‑scale HR IT programs
