This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced actuarial professional to play a key role in developing and enhancing pricing strategies that support sustainable growth, customer value, and portfolio performance. Working closely with underwriting, product, sales, and leadership teams, you will leverage actuarial expertise, advanced analytics, and emerging technologies to deliver pricing solutions that help drive informed business decisions. About the Role

As a Pricing Actuarial Analyst, you will be responsible for designing, maintaining, and refining pricing models that support our Travel Line of Business. You will assess risk, analyse portfolio performance, identify market opportunities, and provide actionable insights that contribute to business success. This role offers the opportunity to work across multiple markets and stakeholders while applying modern actuarial techniques, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled tools to enhance pricing capability and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Pricing & Portfolio Management Develop, maintain, and enhance pricing models and rating structures. Build pricing simulators and scenario analysis tools to support business planning and decision-making. Monitor portfolio performance and identify opportunities to improve profitability and growth. Conduct pricing reviews and recommend strategic pricing actions. Risk Assessment & Advanced Analytics Analyse customer, claims, and market data to assess risk and support pricing decisions. Apply predictive modelling techniques to enhance pricing sophistication and risk segmentation. Support data-driven underwriting initiatives through robust actuarial analysis. Identify trends and emerging risks that may impact portfolio performance. Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Product, Underwriting, Sales, Distribution, and Leadership teams. Translate complex analytical findings into clear and actionable business recommendations. Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders across local and international markets. Contribute to strategic projects and business initiatives. Market Intelligence & Governance Monitor competitor activity, market developments, and industry trends. Support compliance with regulatory and governance requirements. Contribute to ongoing innovation and continuous improvement initiatives within the pricing function.

What You'll Bring

Essential Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related discipline. Professional actuarial qualification or significant progress towards qualification. Minimum 5 years' experience in: Insurance pricing Portfolio monitoring Underwriting analytics Actuarial modelling or a related insurance discipline Strong analytical, problem-solving, and commercial decision-making skills. Proficiency in: SQL Python R Database and analytics tools Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures and international environments.

Highly Regarded

Travel insurance experience. Experience with Radar pricing software. Experience working with travel agency distribution channels, including offline travel agencies. Exposure to international insurance markets.
