Job Purpose/Role
This role is responsible for managing and growing an existing portfolio of clients in Vietnam, while contributing 40–50% of business growth through upselling, cross-selling, and client referrals.
The position requires a strong balance between relationship management and commercial mindset, with a focus on sustainable growth, client retention, and profitability in the local market.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Portfolio Management & Retention (Primary Focus)
- Manage and develop a portfolio of corporate clients, ensuring high retention and long-term relationships
- Prepare and execute renewal strategies to achieve portfolio retention and profitability targets
- Understand clients’ business models, financing needs, and risk exposure to provide relevant solutions
- Ensure portfolio quality by applying internal credit and underwriting guidelines
- Deliver consistent service quality and maintain strong client satisfaction
2. Portfolio Growth (40–50% – Upsell Focus)
- Identify and drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities within the existing client base
- Leverage relationships to generate referrals and introductions to new prospects
- Support new business development initiatives through brokers, banks, and partners
- Participate in sales discussions, proposals, and negotiations with clients
- Contribute actively to portfolio growth in Vietnam in line with company strategy
Key Requirements/Skills/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in any business-related discipline.
- 5 years solid experience in corporate Account / Relationship Management, past experience within Trade Finance / Trade Credit Insurance is a plus.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills a must.
- Customer-driven with a passion to provide first class services to clients and insurance brokers.
- Ability to work cross-funtionally and navigate internal processes
- Outgoing, highly energized and self-motivated.
- Good command of English
- Conversant with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
