As a Compliance Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in safeguarding our reputation and ensuring we adhere to laws, regulations, and ethical standards. In this key position, you'll manage and monitor compliance risks within the Belgian organization, advising on lawful and ethical business conduct. You'll lead the local Compliance team, including the Data Protection Officer, and work closely with the CCO BNL to strengthen compliance awareness across the Benelux area. Your role will involve coordinating with other Compliance Managers and specialists, overseeing compliance activities, and ensuring Allianz remains a trusted name in the industry.

- Compliance Management: Maintain an adequate level of compliance across various topics in Belgium, including preparing reports and plans.
- Impact Analysis: Analyze upcoming legislation and its impact on local entities.
- Policy Development: Translate Group Compliance requirements into local policies and guidelines.
- Risk Assessment: Manage compliance risk assessments and develop mitigation measures.
- Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor business activities, issue reports, and provide advice to senior management.
- Training & Communication: Increase compliance awareness through training and communication.
- Internal Investigations: Investigate whistleblower reports and manage internal investigations.
What we look for?
We are seeking a proactive compliance expert with a Master’s degree in Law and certified as a Compliance Officer. You should have at least 5 years of experience in compliance, with a strong understanding of non-financial risk management. Fluency in French, Dutch, and English is essential, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You must be adept at project management and possess strong organizational abilities.
