Senior Specialist – AAGI A&H Individual Health Pricing in Bangkok
Oversee technical pricing, analysis, and portfolio management for health products at Allianz Group.
Job Summary
Responsible for handing pricing frameworks/process, technical analysis and initiatives to maintain or/and improve Health portfolio profitability (A&H, P&C) following the Company Target and Direction.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for technical analysis and (re)pricing to achieve business growth and profitability for new and renewal Individual Health business and Health portfolio (Cancer, CI)
Comply and pursue the authorized review/approval process from committees, compliance & audit, AZAP & group, for all health products (INDI and Group)
Perform cross-department collaboration for new and renewal (re-repricing) products implementation (INDI and Group, A&H and on OPUS system)
Perform monitoring reports for A&H health portfolio management and improve, ad hoc analysis request (from OPUS system)
Ensure premium accuracy in OPUS system and other premium tools (for products operated under OPUS system)
Work closely with cross-functional teams (product, underwriting, operations) to bring new products and repricing initiatives to market
Monitor portfolio performance, identify trends, and proactively recommend actions to improve loss ratio and overall portfolio health
Prepare and present clear, insightful analysis to support decision-making by senior stakeholders and committees
Ensure all pricing activities follow internal governance, including approvals from local committees, Group, compliance, and audit
Contribute to continuous improvement of pricing frameworks, tools, and processes
Must have
Bachelor’s degrees in actuarial science, or Statistics/Mathematics
At least 5 years’ experience in non-life insurance pricing on Health Insurance is a plus
Strongly in pricing technical (actuarial) knowledge and process
Fluent in English (writing and interactive presentation)
Nice to have
Strong analytical skill, strategic thinking and planning, and self-driven
Ability to present technical insights to senior stakeholders
Strongly in presentation skill (non-technical) stakeholder i.e. involved in product implementation
Any AI-future skills e.g., ChatGPT, or CoPilot365, will be advantage.
