Description

We are looking for a Risk Manager – Mobility and Home & Digital to ensure the effective implementation and continuous improvement of risk management processes across the organization, in line with Allianz Partners’ Global Risk framework and regulatory requirements.

In this role, you will work closely with first and second line of defense stakeholders, playing a key role in identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks while strengthening the internal control environment. You will operate with a high level of autonomy, addressing complex challenges and contributing to both local and global risk initiatives.

This is a unique opportunity to collaborate with multicultural teams, influence senior stakeholders, and help drive a strong risk culture across the business.

As a Risk Manager, you will play a pivotal role in strengthening the organization’s risk framework, enhancing transparency, and supporting strategic decisions through robust risk insights. Your work will directly contribute to safeguarding business operations while driving efficiency, compliance, and long‑term resilience.

What you do

Lead and coordinate risk management activities across multiple geographies as needed

Act as the Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for all risk‑related topics within the business unit.

Promote a strong risk culture through close collaboration with business leaders and stakeholders

Interpret and implement Group Risk standards within the business unit

Facilitate core Risk programs, including:

Top Risk Assessment
Operational Risk Event Capture
Non‑Financial Risk Management (NFRM)

Support and enhance internal control programs across Financial Reporting, IT, Legal, Compliance, and Operations

Deliver and support execution of NFRM control testing plans , ensuring remediation of control gaps

Monitor, analyze, and report on risk trends and incidents

Conduct risk assessments and support decision‑making through data‑driven insights

Maintain key risk documentation, including risk registers, control libraries, and action tracking

Support risk reporting and presentations for regional and global governance forums

Build and maintain a network of Risk and Internal Control Champions (1st Line of Defense) and deliver training initiatives.

AI Readiness Work effectively in an environment shaped by artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, data analytics and cloud‑based tools, using insights responsibly with our standards of data governance, security and ethical use.

What you bring

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance , or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Professional certification in Risk Management, Internal Control, Accounting, or Auditing

4–8 years of relevant experience with demonstrated expertise in Risk Management

Strong knowledge of Enterprise Risk Management frameworks and internal control best practices

Solid analytical and quantitative skills across multiple risk categories

Understanding of insurance, solvency requirements, or risk‑based capital is a plus

Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and promoting risk culture

Ability to work independently , manage complexity, and solve non‑standard problems

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously

High attention to detail and a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset

Team‑oriented approach with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment

Proficiency in Microsoft 365 tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Copilot)

Fluent English (required); other European languages are a plus.
