Overview
Join a human-sized structure within a leading investment bank, which deals with complex and demanding issues while maintaining an agile and streamlined organisation. Within the Accounting & Operations Department of the branch, you will join the Operation Back-Office team being responsible for assisting the relevant operational activities, participating in projects and assisting the HR/Management.
What you'll be doing
More in details, your tasks will include:
- Back Office activities: Documentary credits and documentary collections, Monitor the opening of documentary credits in collaboration with Trade Finance;
- Guarantees: Compile the file, carry out a second-level review of the information provided by client managers, monitor the process, and verify the invoicing and payment of commissions;
- Means of payment: Analyse requests from EXELIA, liaise with account managers and provide solutions, Credit, money market and treasury activities, Enter interbank lending and borrowing transactions, foreign exchange transactions and term deposit accounts, Processing of confirmations received, Initiating payment orders for transactions reaching maturity, Monitoring the cash positions, Managing payment orders, Monitoring SWIFT messages and preparing responses;
- Manage matters relating to organisation of the premises;
- Assist HR/Management
Who we are looking for
This position is ideal for a candidate who is curious, rigorous and eager to understand banking issues within a constantly evolving organisation. We would be pleased to hear from you if you have:
- 3–5 years of relevant experience;
- Back Office;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word and PowerPoint);
- Good command of both French and English.
