Analyst – Client Support Team at MUFG Bank in London, focusing on end‑to‑end client onboarding and lifecycle management.
Support MUFG’s Client Lifecycle Management Division with KYC, credit, and operational coordination while enhancing the client experience.
MAIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
This role is to support Client Support team in the planning and execution of the related activities across the required business lines.
As a significant support function, interacting with the customer and internal stakeholders, customer experience is paramount for the team. This individual will be a point of contact for a number of desks in relation to client management related activities including the management of end to end onboardng for new clients and new product set ups. Delivery of these activities and proficient management Information is essential to succeeding in this area.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Point of contact for end to end onboarding co ordination: drive liaison with KYC, Legal, Credit Regulatory and operational teams
Proactively find solutions to reduce time to market for onboarding
Identifying opportunities for improving our end-to-end customer experience
Develop a good understanding of key systems and end to end process across Bank and Securities
Co-ordination with internal teams with regards lifecycle management related activities e.g. account opening & closing, RMA Set up, mandate changes, other operational set up,
Direct interaction with client regarding end to end onboarding
Maintain and Publish meaningful MI relating to Client Support Activities
Prepare GCARS (internal Credit System) applications on a timely basis, ensuring accuracy of financial statement input for Borrower Ratings and correct facility details for Credit Applications for new transactions.
Tracking the teams’ applications through the credit lifecycle to ensure completion according to schedule and liaising with other stakeholders (Relationship Managers, Credit Officers etc) for additional information (financial statements, facility details, internal documentation sign offs) where necessary
Prepare Funds liquidity, fee notifications and fee accruals for new transactions

PERFORMANCE AND DUTIES
The role holder will be assessed in accordance with their employing entity’s performance framework and process with relevant input obtained from the dual hatting entity as relevant.
As duties and responsibilities change, the job description will be reviewed and amended in consultation with the role holder. The role holder will carry out other duties as are within the scope, spirit and purpose of the role as requested by their line manager or Department Head.
MANAGING CONFLICTS OF INTEREST
The role holder will have responsibilities for both MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
The role holder will be required to perform their duties and responsibilities on an entity neutral basis, without favour.
The role holder is required to follow regulatory requirements applicable to ensure each business is appropriately supported and to maintain the legal entity integrity of each of MUFG Bank and MUS.
Working terms are dictated by functional mandates, the terms of the Dual-Hat Arrangement Agreement in place between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc and any other relevant agreements entered into between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc.
The role holder will have responsibility for identifying and resolving where there may be a difference or conflict in needs between MUFG Bank and MUFG Securities EMEA plc, escalating to their manager where required.
