Senior Financial Analyst – Workday Financials Support at Franklin Templeton, Hyderabad

About the Department
The Finance and Technology teams enable effective accounting operations through Workday Financials. They partner closely with business users, Accounting, and external providers to maintain system performance, strengthen controls, improve reporting, and deliver process efficiencies. The team operates in a collaborative, problem-solving environment that offers exposure to financial systems, transformation initiatives, automation, analytics, and AI-driven innovation.
How will you add value?
Core Responsibilities:
- You will provide functional support for Workday Financials.
- You will troubleshoot issues and perform root-cause analysis.
- You will support month-end close and reporting processes.
- You will support consolidation, allocations, and currency revaluation activities.
- You will maintain support, testing, and process documentation.
- You will support user training and adoption initiatives.
Strategic Responsibilities:
- You will evaluate requirements and recommend system improvements.
- You will enhance reporting, controls, and user experience.
- You will support testing, deployment, and release activities.
- You will perform impact assessments for system changes.
- You will identify automation and AI improvement opportunities.
- You will ensure compliance with controls and audit requirements.
Team & Collaboration:
- You will partner with Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams.
- You will collaborate with business users and support providers.
- You will act as a liaison between technical and business stakeholders.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience, Education & Certifications:
- Five or more years in finance systems or ERP support.
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business discipline.
- Experience supporting Workday Financials or similar platforms.
- Knowledge of financial close and reporting processes.
- Experience with system enhancements, testing, and releases.
- Customer-focused stakeholder support experience.
Technical Skills:
- Strong Workday Financials or ERP expertise.
- Understanding of accounting controls and workflows.
- Experience with Power BI, Power Query, Excel, and AI tools.
- Advanced Excel skills for analysis and reporting.
- Familiarity with Agile delivery and issue management.
- Fluency in English; additional languages are beneficial.

- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and organization.
- Ability to manage competing priorities independently.
- Professional judgment and confidentiality awareness.

Work Shift Timings - 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM IST
