What You'll Do

Own the delivery of BCG ANZ's UP agenda, partnering with C&E Senior Manager to evolve priorities and deliver measurable impact

Shape D&I and wellbeing priorities and new strategic initiatives, to focus energy and move the needle on key topics; drawing on external best practice, understanding of the BCG environment, and an innovative mindset

Work with peers across the People Team to further embed inclusion in our processes and systems; e.g., inclusive recruiting practices, workplace adjustments policies

Oversee and coordinate efforts across our seven employee-led D&I Pillars (Women@BCG , PRIDE, Socio-economic Diversity, Accessability@BCG , First Nations, Kulcha & Ethnicity, Champions for Change), including:

Work with Pillars to shape their priorities in line with BCG's broader D&I and business agendas

Provide strategic advice to Pillars on initiatives they lead; e.g., affiliation and awareness sessions

Oversee Pillar budgets to ensure they’re directed toward areas of highest impact

Help mobilize new Pillars and manage responsibilities for emerging DE&I priorities as needed

Lead the design of programming to upskill leaders and staff on D&I and wellbeing topics, e.g., conscious inclusion training and cultural awareness, partnering with our L&D team to embed inclusion in the core curricula

Facilitate engagement with BCG ANZ’s broader senior leadership group on D&I topics, working closely with the D&I Executive Sponsor and Executive Champions for each Pillar

Track metrics related to our D&I priorities, including from our annual People Survey, to help make data-driven decisions on future priorities and areas where further analysis is required

Serve as a BCG representative in external D&I forums and shape external partnerships; e.g. , Pinnacle Foundation

Lead BCG’s submissions for external recognition related to D&I; e.g., WGEA Employer of Choice, Australian Workplace Equality Index, DCA Inclusive Employer Award

Centrally coordinate business-wide D&I related communications, e.g., on days of cultural significance

Engage with counterparts leading D&I and wellbeing efforts in other BCG regions, to collaborate on common goals and share emerging best practice

Support broader engagement efforts, to foster affiliation, connection and belonging:

Support engagement and affiliation across BCG ANZ, including supporting major events (e.g., Firmwide, Senior Women's Conference) in partnership with broader People and Office Teams

Support BCG’s People Survey, including communications to support survey participation, analyzing results and helping prepare in forums such as Board meetings and Town Halls

Remain current on the latest topics and innovations in D&I and employee engagement, to continually strengthen our approach and pilot new ideas

What You'll Bring

Excellent stakeholder engagement skills and ability to influence senior decision-making

Strong and structured communication skills – both written and verbal

An ability to translate data into clear insights and recommendations

A ‘customer-focused’ mindset, committed to continually improving our employee value proposition

A structured problem-solving approach; able to work top-down to drive outcomes pragmatically

Strong organizational skills; able to execute on multiple projects and prioritize effectively

An enthusiasm to learn, take on new challenges, and flex to support our people agenda as needed

A tertiary level qualification in a relevant field

Experience in a professional services context, and/or in Human Resources

Up to date knowledge on key trends in the D&I and employee engagement landscape

Demonstrated project ownership skills – e.g., overseeing major projects/portfolios to deliver outcomes

Proficiency across Microsoft Suite, in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Who You'll Work With

You’ll report to our ANZ Capability & Engagement Senior Manager, and will also closely with the broader People Team, the Unlocking Potential MDP Sponsor, Global Unlocking Potential teams, and BCG X teams.
